Magical Uses: Herb of tranquility. Used in a bath to promote relaxation and purification. Used in aromatherapy to bring clarity and calm to the mind. Can be burned in herb bundles and incense for a cleansing and soothing energy. Lavender uplifts and comforts, so use or burn it during shadow work sessions if you’re feeling down.

Lavender is used in love spells and sachets. Clothing scented with Lavender is said to attract love. A piece of paper on which you’ve rubbed lavender is excellent for using for written love notes. Lavender worn is also said to protect against cruel treatment at the hands of a loved one.

The flowers are burned to induce sleep and rest and can be scattered around the home to maintain peacefulness (perfect for use in floor washes). Lavender is also used in healing mixtures, can be carried to help see ghosts, and can be worn to protect against the evil eye. 

Lavender is often associated with meditation and sleep. Its 8calming properties make it the perfect flower to help you relax. Great for easing depression, anxiety, and any stress.
